My aim: I want for Ph.D. in English.

I wrote the first mock test as per the suggestion of verbalhub teacher and the teacher made a study plan according to the requirement. The teacher suggested the books to go through before starting the TOEFL prep. Thus you should write a test then you should start the study of TOEFL.

Start with an individual question. The teacher trained me question-wise and made me practice. This gave me the idea to work on the area in which I am not very much comfortable. Hence work on your basic learning first.

Do write a test once in a week. I used to do so that worked well.

Write at least 10 full tests before the exam. When I book my exam, the teacher conducted one mock every day. After each mock, the teacher used to give me suggestions of improvement.

Last but not least. Work on your error logs. Make a list of common errors and discuss with the teacher if you have joined any coaching otherwise get the solution through social media and other sources.
